Description
Charity auction of a blazer that belongs to Rúben Rua to support APPACDM Lisboa.
Rúben Rua is a well-known Portuguese model and TV presenter. To support APPACDM, Rúben donated the blazer he wore in his first live show on TVI, in May 2016.
Rúben is a friend of the association and ambassador of the book #um dia Igual aos outros# that shows photos of a special event in which APPACDM youngsters were models for a day.
APPACDM de Lisboa is a private social charity institution that works hard to respond to the needs, capabilities, and expectations of people with intellectual disabilities or impairment, as well as their families.
The association is raising funds to purchase a 9-seat van that will help the users to travel and will allow greater accessibility between their homes and the center. The canteen’s furniture has more than 30 years and also needs to be remodeled and replaced with more suitable equipment.
The amount raised with this auction will help the association with this fundraising.
