Post Re-Entry Program Oregon helps the incarcerated by preparing short and long term inmates, with management/couponing skills they need have to be able to shop with confidence and have a positive outlook upon their up coming release.
Prep Oregon is a 501(c)3 nonprofit inside the prison system that teaches life skills classes to inmates that are soon being released. They are taught how to manage their money and food stamps through the art of couponing. This teaches them to shop efficiently to be able to save a great percentage on the cost of items needed, this helps them to better live their lives and to venture on a path of success
For qualifying Inmates we offer a "Care Basket" upon release. Over 75% of inmates have no family willing to help or support them once released. We provide the essential items people need on a day to day basis, Such as a tooth brush and toothpaste, deodorant, body wash and shampoo. And a nice outfit to wear when finding a job/ working. All items that their food stamps cant buy.
