The Family Forge seeks to strengthen and improve the quality of family life through education in personal and family development and providing relief to families in need in a variety of practical and financial ways.
The Family Forge is currently fundraising to provide
- English classes for mothers and fathers of refugee families
-subsidise classes in maths, English and life skills for young people excluded from schools ( i.e. the grouping with the least positive relationship outcomes in later life , to improve their life chances).
- A residential centre more suited for its work
- A soft play facility to enable particularly work with mothers of small children to take place
- Family workshops, seminars and conferences
