With a common goal of accessible sport for everyone, the PSA team works enthusiastically to bring fun and motivation with physical literacy support to all their participants and the wider community.
PSA was founded by Dan Pengelly and Alex Mathers back in 2010 as an unregistered charity with the aim of managing, developing and sustaining accessible sport and physical education for vulnerable adults and children. Since then, PSA has grown from strength to strength, and is led by a professional team of local sports coaches and teachers all of which have vast experience of working in schools and with community groups. PSA now engages over 500 disadvantaged children and 200 vulnerable adults each week with various projects and good causes. PSA don't focus on elite sport but instead provide a platform for those who need it most to use sport as a tool to improve their lives.
