The charity of the UK musical instrument industry with the mission of "Making More Musicians"
The Music for All charity is run by volunteers from the UK music making industry with all activities devoted to our mission of ‘Making More Musicians!’
With over 22 million people in the UK who either want to learn or return to playing an instrument, many need our help, support and encouragement. We are also committed to addressing the needs of community and diversity, especially for those who do not have access to music making.
We do this in three ways:
• Running the annual national Learn To Play Day
• Giving grants to individuals that need help to either buy instruments or the lessons with which to learn
• Giving grants to community projects to enable them to create and sustain more musicians throughout the UK
Plus….
• The charity has minimal overheads, nearly all monies raised go directly into music making programmes
• Match funding from the musical instrument industry in all activities
