Essex Respite and Care Association support carers of people suffering from serious mental illness (including Alzheimer’s disease) by giving them valuable respite time to recharge their batteries and at the same time we provide activities for the person with the mental health diagnosis, enabling them to have fun and become more engaged with mainstream society. Furthermore, we have extended our area of care to include service users who do not have a carer.
