Description

Charity Auction of a Vista Alegre Ship´s Decanter Clipper to support U.DREAM.

The clipper generously reinterprets the historic bottle of port wine, featuring a wide base and a short neck, a form commonly used in ships during the first half of the 18th century. The nautical theme is reinforced by the engraving of a sailboat in the glass stopper that names the piece, instead of the coat of arms that would typically be engraved on the bottle during that period.

U.DREAM was founded on August 20, 2013, by students of the Faculty of Economics of Porto, who one day questioned whether they were giving back enough and decided to do something about it. They then created the first Social Junior Company of the country - U. DREAM – that combines the business and social fields.

The amount raised with this charity auction will help the association make the dreams planned for this semester a reality. For every 1000 € raised, U.DREAM will make a child and a family’s dreams come true, making their lives a little fairer and giving them back their smiles.
